Case study of automation in the parts insertion process: Stabilization of quality, improvement of productivity, and reduction of human resources.

Presentation of case studies! Examples of achieving a stable production system through the stabilization of processes.

We would like to introduce a case study on the automation of the insertion process by JUKI Corporation. The quality in the insertion process was unstable, with significant variations between processes, requiring a lot of manpower and cost to stabilize. By advancing the automation of the insertion process, we introduced the "JM50" with the expectation of stabilizing quality and improving productivity. As a result of stabilizing quality and reducing variations, productivity increased, and the burden on workers was also alleviated. [Case Overview] ■ Background: Challenges in the insertion process and issues in personnel management ■ Solution: Improvements through automation and efficient parts selection ■ Effects: Achievements from quality stabilization and productivity improvement *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Case study of automated component insertion process: Improving production efficiency and shortening delivery times with high-precision insertion processes.

Presenting a collection of case studies! Automating the parts insertion process to improve production efficiency and shorten delivery times.

We would like to introduce a case study of automation in the insertion process by JUKI Corporation. In the component insertion process, advanced technology and experience are required, making skilled workers play a crucial role. However, with the aging of skilled workers, maintaining technical expertise on-site has become one of the challenges. In response to this challenge, we introduced the "JM100." By combining the skills developed by skilled workers with automation, we established a highly precise insertion process. [Case Overview] ■ Background: A process where high-precision mounting is difficult ■ Solution: Automation of technology that relied on skilled workers ■ Effect: Improved production efficiency and reduced lead times *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Case of Automation in Parts Insertion Process: Reduction of Defect Rate and Improvement of Quality through Variation Improvement

Presenting a collection of case studies! Examples where productivity dramatically improved and production costs decreased.

We would like to introduce a case study of automation in the insertion process by JUKI Corporation. In the component insertion process, there was variability between processes, and it relied on the skills of experienced workers. This led to variations in quality depending on the skill level and physical condition of the workers, resulting in a decline in quality. Therefore, we considered automation with the JM100 and the introduction of the JaNets system. By reducing variability, the defect rate decreased, high-quality production was achieved, and productivity dramatically improved due to stable production speeds, which also reduced production costs. [Case Overview] ■ Background: Variability due to worker skills, task difficulty, physical condition, and experience was an issue. ■ Solution: Automation and system implementation. ■ Effect: High-quality production and increased efficiency. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Case study of automation in the component insertion process: alleviating labor shortages and reducing recruitment costs/labor expenses.

Presenting a collection of case studies! Achieved reductions in adoption costs and labor expenses, improving the work environment.

We would like to introduce a case study of automation in the insertion process by JUKI Corporation. Frequent personnel changes resulted in startup costs each time, and it took time for quality to stabilize. Additionally, due to a labor shortage, there was an increase in overtime, outsourcing, and the use of temporary workers, which put pressure on profits. In response, we introduced the "JM50" and "JM20" with the expectation of reducing hiring costs and labor expenses. We were able to achieve reductions in hiring costs and labor expenses, which alleviated the burden on workers and improved the working environment. [Case Overview] ■ Background: Challenges of labor shortages and cost pressures ■ Solution: Automation and efficient personnel allocation ■ Effects: Achievements in cost reduction and productivity improvement *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
